In a bowl take flour, khoya, ghee, curd and soda, mix well

Sprinkle water (approx 1 to 1.5 tbsp) and knead a dough.

Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.

For stuffing: take a bowl, add cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins and cardamom powder.

Mix well, stuffing is ready.

For sugar syrup: add sugar and water in a kadai and bring to boil.

Once it starts boiling, lower the flame and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Turn off the flame and keep aside.

Now to make pedas, knead the dough again gently.

Roll into equal-sized balls and flatten slightly.

Put a little of the prepared stuffing in the center.

Gather the sides and cover the stuffing.

Pinch to seal and roll it.

Flatten slightly and make pedas.

Heat oil in a kadhai on medium flame and fry all the pedas on medium flame until dark golden brown.

Once done, drain and add to sugar syrup.

Let it soak for at least 1 hour.

Serve with garnish of chopped nuts
