Ingredients

  1. 1 cupvermicelli
  2. 1 tbspoil
  3. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  4. 1Tomato chopped
  5. 1Thinly chopped green chilli
  6. 3 tbspgrated or Thinly chopped carrot
  7. 1/2onion
  8. 1dried red chilli
  9. 1 tspChilli powder
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. Handfulcoriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Take 2 cups water in a pan and keep for boiling
    When it boils Add vermicelli and a pinch of salt

    When vermicelli is cooked switch off the flame and drain it.
    Place the sieve under the running water and keep aside.

    Heat a pan with oil; splutter mustard seeds and dried red chilli.

    Add curry leaves, onions green chilli and stir till onions turn pink..
    Add grated carrots and saute for 3 - 4 minutes.

    Add chopped tomato,chilli powder and salt.

    Cook for about 2 minutes until tomato is mushy and cooked

    Add boiled vermicelli; mix well.
    Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and turn off heat.

    Enjoy hot
