Potatoes in Peas Gravy

It's a traditional North Indian curry, which I used to have since childhood. My Mom-Dad taught me how to cook this authentic and yes a traditional recipe called "Nimona" Well, I changed it's name 😁. Trust me it's lip licking one!

It's a traditional North Indian curry, which I used to have since childhood. My Mom-Dad taught me how to cook this authentic and yes a traditional recipe called "Nimona" Well, I changed it's name 😁. Trust me it's lip licking one!
Steps

Cut Onions, Green Chillies and Tomatoes. Add these into chopper/mixer/grinder. Into add Grated Ginger, Garlic Cloves, Black & Green Cardomom, Cloves and Black Pepper. Grind it/ Chop it coarsly. In a pot heat Oil, (if possible take 1 tbsp Mustard Oil and 2 tbsp Any refined oil). Once oil is heated add Jeera, Asafetida and Bay Leaf. Into add the Onion, Tomatoes and whole spice paste. Mix it well and saute it. Cover with lid. Let them cook. Add all spices powder and Salt. Stir ocasionally.

While your gravy is getting ready coarsly chop the peas. Keep it aside. Take another pot. Peel the Potatoes and sliced it (keep it little bit thicker). Once oil gets heated add sliced potatoes into it. Fry it untill pototes turn into golden brown.

Once the gravy is done add peas into it andix well. At this levelLet the peas mixture get cooked in the gravy. Stir ocassionally. Once it leave the vessel base add fried Potatoes. Mix well.

Add water and mix well. Stir ocassionally. After one boil switch off the flame. Add lemon juice and mix well. Your 'Nimona' - 'Potatoes in Pea's Gravy' is ready to get served. Enjoy Meal!
