Ingredients

  1. 250 gmpetha/pumpkin boiled
  2. 2onions
  3. 2tomatoes
  4. 1 spoonchopped ginger
  5. 1green chilli chopped
  6. 1/2 spooncumin seeds
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 2 spoonOil for cooking
  9. 1/3 spoonChilli powder
  10. 1/2 spoonturmeric powder
  11. 1 spooncoriander powder

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the pumpkin in small pieces and boil till soft.

    In a pan heat up oil and add cumin seeds. Once they crackle add garlic to it then onion and green chilli. Cook for 2 minutes then add tomatoes to it. Cook till tomatoes soften up then add turmeric, salt, chilli powder and coriander powder to it and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.

    Now add boiled pumpkin to it. Smash the pumpkin using your spatula and mix it thoroughly. Cook for 10 minutes or till all water evaporates. Your pethe ka bhartha is ready. Serve it with chapati or paratha and enjoy.
