Soak rice, chana dal and urad dal overnight.
Then grind it coarsely in mixer by adding buttermilk and lukewarm milk.
Now keep it for fermatation for 1 day.
Add soda, salt and ginger, garlic and chilli paste to it. - 2
Mix it well.
Add spinach puree to it.
Now take dhokla cooker and add water in the bottom and place dhokla batter in a greased thali.
Close the lid.
And let it cook for 15 minutes.
Off the gas and let it be cool down completely.
Make pieces of it. - 3
Take a small pan.
Heat oil in it.
Add mustard seeds to it and let it sputter for few seconds.
Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilli and sesame seeds to it.
Saute for a while.
Add a pinch of asafoetida.
Put this tadka on palak dhokla and garnish it with coriander leaves.
And serve this unique dish with lasun chutney or green chutney.
