Ingredients

15 minutes
2-3 servings
  • 1 cupRava / Semolina
  • 1/4 cupChopped carrot
  • 1/2 cupGreen peas
  • 1/4 cupRoasted groundnut
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tspSugar
  • 2Green Chillies
  • 3 cupsWater
  • 1 tspCumin seeds
  • 1 tspMustard seeds
  • 5-6Curry leaves
  • 1 pinchasafoetida (Hing)
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tbspGhee
  • 3 tbspOil
  • HandfulCoriander leaves

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly roast rava on low flame till it becomes light brown.

    Now in a pan heat oil in that add ghee, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, carrots and green peas. Roast it for 5 minutes.

    Now add roasted ground nuts and again roast it for a minute.

    Now add water and salt, sugar, turmeric powder. Cook till water starts boiling.

    Once it's started boiling in a low flame, add coriander leaves and roasted rava in it. Mix well and make it lumps free. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.

    Tasty Mix veg Upma is ready to serve. You can serve with a piece of lemon.
