Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 3 cupsbeans
  2. 4scotch bonnet
  3. 3red peppers
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Add beans in to a clean bowl and soak for 15minutes, after 15 minutes beans in mortar and pound with pestle lightly.

    Transfer the beans in to a bowl add water and gently seive the water in a strainer the black eye will follow gently repeat the process for 4 times.

    Add the beans in a tray and take out the remaining black eye and soak for 1hr

  4. 4

    Add slice onions,red pepper,scotch bonnet and blend till smooth, add salt to your taste and beat the beans batter for 10mins

  5. 5

    In a pan add oil in a medium heat,when the oil is hot scoop the beans batter and add in the oil and fry on both sides till golden brown and take it out and place in a seiver, you are done, it's ready to be enjoyed.
