Ingredients

  • 6chicken leg portions
  • 1 tablespoonschinese 5 spice
  • 1 tablespoongarlic powder
  • 1 tablespoonblack pepper
  • 2 tablespoonlight soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonrice wine or Chinese cooking wine
  • 5 tablespoonsweet potato flour
  • 2 tablespooncorn flour
  • Salt mix to serve
  • 2 tablespoontable salt
  • 2 tablespoonchinese five spice
  • 2 tablespoonblack pepper
  • 1 tablespoonsugar

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl put the chicken and all the ingredients except the flours and mix well to ensure the chicken is well coated. The cover and leave to marinate for 3 hours or overnight in fridge.

  2. 2

    In a flat pan or bowl mix the 2 flours together, coat the marinated chicken in the flour and place into airfryer and brush the chicken with a little oil ready to cook.

  3. 3

    Set you airfryer to 190 for 22 mins once whilst cooking mix the salt mixture together. Once the chicken is cooked sprinkle with salt mix
