Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 4 tspoil
  2. 3 clovesgarlic, chopped
  3. 2 tbsponion, chopped
  4. 4 tbspspring onion, chopped
  5. 1green chilli, chopped
  6. 2 tbspcarrot, chopped
  7. 2 tbspbeans, chopped
  8. 2 tspvinegar
  9. 2 tspsoya sauce
  10. 1/2 tsppepper, crushed
  11. 2 cupscooked basmati rice
  12. 3/4 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large kadhai heat 4 tsp oil and saute 3 cloves chopped garlic.
    Saute on medium flame till they turn golden and slightly burnt.

    Add 2 tbsp onion, spring onions and green chilli. saute well.
    Add 2 tbsp carrot and 2 tbsp beans, saute for a minute.

    Now add 2 tsp vinegar, 2 tsp soy sauce and 1 tsp chilli sauce. mix on high flame.
    Add 2 cups leftover rice.

    Also add ½ tsp pepper and ¾ tsp salt.
    Mix gently, without breaking rice grain. allow the rice to heat up completely. Finally, serve burnt garlic fried rice garnished with few chopped spring onions green.
