Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupbutter
  2. 1/2 cupwhite sugar
  3. 3/4 cuppacked brown sugar
  4. 1egg
  5. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  6. 1/2 teaspoonbaking soda
  7. 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  8. 1 1/2 cupsall-purpose flour
  9. 100 grams (1 cup)semi-sweet chocolate bar, chopped into pieces

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 175 degrees celsius.

    Cream the softened butter with the sugar.

  3. 3

    Beat in egg and vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.

    Combine dry ingredients with butter/sugar mixture and fold in the chopped chocolate.

    Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.

    Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and place on a greased baking sheet, 2 inches apart.

    Bake for 10 minutes at 175 Celsius.

    Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool for 10 minutes, before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Hi Gigi! When you bake these are they soft? I can’t manage ti make my cookies soft... any suggestions
