Ingredients

60 mins
5-5 person
  • 3-4 cupbasmati rice
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 3 glasswater
  • 2 tbspcooking oil
  • For daal ingredeints
  • 1/4 cupmoong lentil soaked it for 15-20 min
  • 3/4 cupmasoor dal soaked it for 15-20 min
  • 2-3 cupwater or as required
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbspsalt or as required
  • 1 tbspginger julian cut
  • 1-2 tbspgreen coriander
  • 2-4green chilli
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 2meduin size tomatoes in cubes cut
  • 1/2imli pulp
  • 3-4 tbspoil
  • 4-6button red chilli
  • 1/2 tbspcumin seeds
  • 15-20 leavescurry pata

Steps

60 mins
  1. 1

    In a pot add water, redchilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, ggpaste, green chilli, moong and masoor lentil gram and tomatoes mix it well and bring it to boil.

    Cover partially and cook on low flame for 20-25 min or until tender.

  3. 3

    Blend well with the help of hand blender, add imli pulp and mix well and cook for 5-6 minutes.

  4. 4

    In a frying pan add oil, cook button red chilli, mix it, add cumin seed, curry leaves and fry for 30 sec.

  5. 5

    Now pour tarka in daal and served it

  6. 6

    For rice, boil rice and serve with daal.

  7. 7

    Yummy and delicious daal chawal is ready. Eat with pappar, achar, green chutney, slims, green fried chillis and enjoy 😁
