Squeeze lemon and add turmeric powder and asafoetida into it,mix well and keep it aside.

Heat sesame oil and add mustard seeds,urad dal,bengalgram and allow it to splutter well.

Now add dry red chilli, curry leaves, grated ginger and saute well in oil. then add fried groundnuts.

Switch off the flame and add lemon juice mixture immediately. Mix well and add salt to taste.

Mix this lemon juice mixture to the required amount of cooked and cooled rice and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Lemon rice is goes well with potato fry.
