2 tbspbutter
1onion, chopped
3carrots, chopped
3 stalkscelery, chopped
4 cchicken broth
4 canscannelinni beans
1 tspchilli powder
1/4 tspcracked black pepper
1bay leaf
2 clovesgarlic, minced

Saute veggies in butter until tender. Add garlic and saute 1 minute more.

Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Remove bay leaf.
