Quinoa is a plant based protein source. when my Dietician had mentioned about Quinoa, I was skeptical about the recipes I could make with it. This dish is one of my all time favorites.

Quinoa is a plant based protein source. when my Dietician had mentioned about Quinoa, I was skeptical about the recipes I could make with it. This dish is one of my all time favorites.
Steps

Take a heated vessel, add 2 cups of water then add washed Quinoa to it let it cook.

In the meantime put the Medjool dates in hot water so that it becomes soft.

By the time quinoa is cooked add heated milk and let it cool.

Add Banana, dates in a blender and make a smooth paste.

Pour the Milk and Quinoa to a bowl and add Banana date mixture only after it has reached the room temperature.

Take a pan saute some nuts in the ghee (Clarified Butter) till they turn light brown. Turn off the flame and add to the porridge mix and enjoy.
