Ingredients

  1. 4- medium sized potatoes
  2. 1/2 tsp- black pepper
  3. 1/4 cup- corn flour
  4. 1/4 tsp- salt(as required)
  5. 1 tsp- red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tsp- chat masala
  7. as requiredOil for deep frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel of the potatoes and cut them to thick wedges.

  2. 2

    Boil the potato wedges for 2 to 3 minutes. Switch off the gas.

  3. 3

    Drain the water and keep the wedges aside. Cool completely.

  4. 4

    Coat the potato wedges uniformly with the mixture of corn flour, black pepper powder and salt. You can add mix herbs (optional).

  5. 5

    Heat the oil in a pan on low medium flame.

  6. 6

    Deep fry the potato wedges into hot oil.

    Stir occasionally till it becomes golden brown and crisp.

    Sprinkle some salt, red chilli powder and chat masala. Serve with tomato sauce.
