Ingredients

15 minutes
4 servings
  • 1/2litre-milk
  • 2 tbsp-vanilla custard powder
  • 2-3 tbsp-sugar or per your taste
  • 1 tsp-cardamom powder
  • 1 cup-grapes cut in halves
  • 1orange-peeled and deseed
  • 1/2 cup-red dry chopped cherry
  • 3-4-banana peeled and chopped in small pieces
  • 2 tbsp-chopped almonds and walnuts

    Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan. Add Sugar and stir very well so that the Sugar dissolves.

  2. 2

    In a cup add custard powder and add 3 tbsp milk or water and make a smooth paste without any lumps.

  3. 3

    Keep the flame on low and then add the prepared custard paste in parts.stir continuously so that there is no lumps formed. Finish of all the custard paste this way. Add cardamom powder and stir.cook for about 5-6 minutes on low flame.

  4. 4

    The mixture will thickens slowly. Cook for a few more minutes and Off the flame. Remove from gas and allow the custard to cool at room temperature. After cool down keep the custard in fridge to chill it before adding the fruits.

    Once the custard has cooled add the chopped fruits. Mix well. Serve chilled garnish with chopped almonds and walnuts.
