Ingredients

  1. 2.2 poundsbeef cut for shawarma with fat
  2. 2hot peppers
  3. 5ripe tomatoes
  4. 3onions
  5. 1 cupbalsamic vinegar
  6. 1 tablespoonpomegranate molasses
  7. 1 tablespoonbeef shawarma spice
  8. 1 tablespoonchicken shawarma spice
  9. 1 teaspoonpaprika
  10. Pinchcumin
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Tartour Sauce:
  13. 1 clovegarlic
  14. 5 tablespoonstahini
  15. 1lemon
  16. as neededWater
  17. Salt to taste
  18. Parsley Mixture:
  19. 1 bunchparsley
  20. 1onion
  21. Pinchsumac

Steps

  1. 1

    Slice the onions and tomatoes into long strips.

  2. 2

    Mix all the ingredients with the beef and let it marinate for at least 3 hours.

  3. 3

    Place it in an oven tray and cover with foil.

  4. 4

    Leave it for about half an hour, then remove the foil and leave for another 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Crush the garlic clove for the tartour sauce, then mix the tahini with lemon juice. Mix well, then add a little water and salt, and mix again.

  6. 6

    Chop the parsley and finely chop the onion, then mix them and add a pinch of sumac.
