A spicy street food from Hyderabad in which boiled Eggs are dipped in Gram Flour batter and deep fried. It is a lovely tea-time snack that can be served with any chutney of your choice. Although these taste yummy even on their own. These can be packed when travelling too and can be enjoyed with the famous Hyderabadi Dum Ki Chai. They make for the popular Iftaar idea too. The best part is that even the children love it. Enjoy these crisp Anda Bondas with the people around you. Share them with the less fortunate ones and the neighbours too. And enjoy the spirit of Ramadan by helping out the needy people. Have a Blessed Ramadan dear people.

Happy Cooking Everyone!

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

Slice one large Onion. Shallow fry that in a tablespoon of Oil and then make a paste out of it along with the Green chillies. Add this along with the rest of the ingredients mentioned to the Gram Flour. Mix well and use water as required to make a smooth yet a thick batter. The batter should be given a standing time of half an hour.

  2. 2

Boil Eggs with little Salt and cut into equal halves. In this way you are left with 20 Egg halves. Dip each in the batter to coat well and deep fry in hot Oil on a low to medium high heat. If the batter is thin or runny, it will be difficult to make good Bondas.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
