Peel potatoes and cut into thin slices

Mix the flour, egg, cornflour, seasoning and spices in a bowl. Add water and stir to form a thick paste.

Drain the potatoes and dab with kitchen roll to remove excess water

Add the potatoes to the paste and deep fry on medium heat until golden brown.
