In a large bowl. Add 1/2 cup butter, 2 tbsp powder sugar or as needed, 2 tbsp milk. Mix....properly. Keep aside.

In another bowl. Add 1 1/2 cup maida or wheat flour. If the cup is big size then take 1 cup, 2 tbsp custard powder, a pinch of baking powder, a pinch of salt and 2 tbsp milk powder. Mix well. Then pour the dry mixture to wet mixture. Mix well. Knead a medium dough. If you are using wheat flour than knead a smooth dough.

From the dough mixture make a round ball size as cookies. Brush milk on cookies and spread a pinch of saffron on cookies.

Preheat oven 180 degrees C for 5 minutes. Apply oil or butter in-tray. Put cookies on the prepared tin and bake for 10 minutes. Once it is done. Keep the cookies on the oven for three minutes. If it is soft don't worry. When cookies will come on room temperature. The cookies will become crunchy.

Once it is done. Transfer to an airtight container. Enjoy with tea or cold coffee
