In a bowl put in flour and mix with cardamon and salt, set aside
- 2
Mix yeast with water until dissolved. In a bowl mix sugar and one egg, you can add butter or rub it in flour.

Repeat the process and cover them for another 1hr. Egg wash and bake for 30min

Braided Bread with Rounds Braided Bread with Rounds
The bread came out so very soft and fluffy. The rounds were so good but the bottom of them turned hard on the second day, but the bread was perfect. I had my rounds on the bottom rack of the oven which is gas. I am thinking they may have gotten too hot. We have 2 racks in the oven. The granddaughters wouldn't stop eating the braided bread. skunkmonkey101

Hokkaido's Famous Chikuwa Bread Hokkaido's Famous Chikuwa Bread
This bread was featured on a local TV show in Hokkaido. It's inspired from the delicious "Chikuwa Bread" from a certain famous store. I think I got pretty close... I'm pretty proud of myself. In Step 2, if you stuff too much canned tuna and onion-mayo into the chikuwa, it will spill out and the dough wont close up easily, so just use an appropriate amount. This bread is quite substantial and filling, so try making a few of these when you are making other snack breads. Please adjust the baking time and temperature depending on your oven. For 8 rolls. Mini Chocolate Bread Sticks Mini Chocolate Bread Sticks
I was trying to make a homemade version of my nephew's favourite store-bought snack. I think I've almost replicated it, except for the size. This is a very soft dough, so it's a bit hard to handle, but it will become smooth after a good bit of kneading. For 20 x 13 cm [7.9 x 5.1 in] breadsticks. Recipe by uronn cookpad.japan
