This is my first try at making these cookies. They turned out crispy around the edges and chewy on the inside. My family enjoyed them. The sea salt on top really gave a nice balanced taste to the already oh-so-sweet cookies! Happy trying!

Hello everyone, I hope that all are well and getting ready for the holidays. I am feeling better and better each day :). Christmas is coming up rather quickly, so I decided to start my christmas cookies, so I haven’t made Christmas cookies in years, so I took out the recipe and started making cookies this morning.The cookies are simple to make, a recipe that is straight forward and not to much of a mess in the kitchen. My kitchen is quite small, so I don’t really have much counter space to lay everything all over, so I have to move a few things around to be able to cook and bake. So, here here goes…..:)

Kids love these multi-coloured cookies (and adults too!) 🌈 You can also make this recipe without the smarties for a nice soft sugar cookie (in case there is someone in your family that doesn't like fun!)."Smarties" is the name of the hard colorful chocolate candy in Europe and Canada which are similar to "M&M's" in the states, and "Marble chocolate" in Japan. You can use any of them for this recipe 😋I find the name-brand candy holds its color in the oven, whereas the no-name ones tend to fade, but the taste is the same.

This is one of the easiest cookies to make and fun to have the kids help with. Makes an average of 32-38 cookies per batch, depending on the size you roll the balls. Great for a quick dessert fix. And it is dairy and gluten-free.

I am not sure where I got the recipe for these cookies, but have been making them at Christmas for over 40 years. They melt in your mouth! You can use any kind of nuts, but pecans are my favourite.

This is so quick and easy and so much fun for the kiddos! :) they make great classroom snacks as well! Great for the holidays and great for weekend fun in the kitchen!

I actually didn't mean to make cookies....they were kind of a happy accident as I should have been making cupcakes but my mix was too thick and I didn't have any more milk left to thin it down so I had to amend it a bit. The kids devoured them in no time regardless!
