One potato dish is a must for every Iftar dastrkhawan.I have some left over aloo from salan & pulao so use them to make potato balls.simple recipe yet flavourful to satisfy potato lovers cravings & twist it no one find out these are made from leftover aloos.

Ingredients

  1. 10-12Cooked Potato pieces
  2. 1 tspRed Chilli powder
  3. 1/2 tspSalt (to taste)
  4. 2 TbspFresh Coriander chop
  5. 1/4 tspTermuric
  6. 1-2Green Chillies chop
  7. To make Batter
  8. 1/4 tspRed Chilli powder
  9. PinchSalt
  10. 3 TbspGramflour (baisan)
  11. 1-2 TbspWater
  12. For Frying
  13. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    I have used leftover aloo pieces from salan & pulao.mash them nicely.add salt,lal mirch,haldi, harimirch,haradhania in aloo & mix well.

    Make round balls from mashed aloo masala.

  3. 3

    Make batter by mixing baisan,salt, lal mirch with water.it should not be runny.texture which can stick to aloo balls.

    Roll potato balls in batter.keep oil at medium flame.add batter coated balls in oil & fry till golden.

    Serve hot potato balls with green chutney & enjoy with cookpad.
