Wash and Soak both Dals in water for 4 hours.

Remove excess water from dal and Grind dal in a mixer to a smooth paste. Mix oats, curd, salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder, asafetida and baking powder in dal paste.

Chop, tomato, onion, capsicum, green chilli and coriander leaves.

Heat few drops of cooking oil in a non stick griddle. Spread oil on griddle with the help of brush. Now spread a ladle full of mixture on griddle. Place chopped vegetables and press it gently on chila. Cook on medium flame till it turn golden. Flip the side and roast from other side also. Sprinkle some cooking Oil on the side of chila and cook till golden.

Flip again and roast.

Serve hot with Tomato and onion chutney.
