Soak moong dal for 2 -3 hrs and grind the soaked dal with ginger and green chillies.Mix all spices and besan to the mixture and beat it with hand for 5 min. Mixture will become fluffy now.

Heat oil in a pan. Take small portion of this mixture and fry small mangodi of it. Soak these mangodi in water for 5 min.Now heat oil in a pan and add hing and jeera to it. Add tomato puree to it and stir.Now add all spices and 1/2 cup of water.Boil it and add mangodi to it. Add 1tbsp lemon juice to it and serve...
