Low Fat Beef Burgers

One reason I never buy pre-made burgers is the amount of grease that spews out of them when cooking. I make my own and never see that horrible yellow river of grease in the pan, here’s how.
Low Fat Beef Burgers
One reason I never buy pre-made burgers is the amount of grease that spews out of them when cooking. I make my own and never see that horrible yellow river of grease in the pan, here’s how.
Steps
- 1
Mix all the ingredients together until the beef becomes a paste
- 2
I use a burger maker but they can be shaped by hand
- 3
Equal out the mix and shape into the same sized burgers, this enables equal cooking.
- 4
Layer the made up burgers with parchment or grease proof paper squares.
- 5
Rest in the fridge for at least an hour, this helps keep them together in shape and also allows the meat to marinade.
- 6
Using a non stick pan, turn it up medium high and dry fry the burgers.
- 7
The little 5% contained fat will be enough to cook them without using cooking oil.
- 8
Turn the burgers every couple of minutes until cooked.
- 9
That’s it, serve as normal, you have reduced fat healthy beef burgers, as always, enjoy.
