A melting sandesh with some chocolate sauce. Made this for my kids. Cow's milk is the best for making any bengali Chanar sweets but if not available use full cream milk.

A melting sandesh with some chocolate sauce. Made this for my kids. Cow's milk is the best for making any bengali Chanar sweets but if not available use full cream milk.

First for making the chana first boil the milk, then add the lemon juice, then lower the flame and keep on stirring still the chana is formed. Now let it cool. Put it in a muslin cloth to drain the water. Now put something heavy on the chana. Keep it in a vessel so that all the remaining water gets drained. Now take the dark chocolate add little warm milk and milkmaid to make the sauce.

Now take the chana. It should be tight and no water in it. Then add sugar, coco powder and the remaining milkmaid and keep on mashing it for 10-15 mins till the sugar gets dissolved and the chana gets fluffy. Now make round shape. Make a hole add the chocolate sauce. Keep it in the fridge for 1 hour.

Please note if you want can garnish it with dry fruits.
