Schezwan sauce#myfirstrecipe

Soak red chillies for at least half hour. Grind them to make paste with little water.

Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger and garlic and cook them on low flame till there is no raw smell.

Then add onions and cook them till it become translucent.

Add red chilli paste, ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and salt. Mix all and put 1/3 cup of water. Bring it to boil and simmer it on low flame till oil separates.

Finally let it cool and store in a air tight container.
