Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupGram flour
  3. 2 tablespoonKasuri methi
  4. 1/2 cupcurd
  5. 3-4 tablespoonsOlive oil
  6. 1/2 tspGinger paste
  7. 1/2 tspgreene chilli paste
  8. 1/2 teaspoonchilli flakes
  9. 1/4 teaspoonasafoetida power
  10. 1/2table turmeric powder
  11. As per tasteSalt
  12. as requiredOil for cook Thepla

Cooking Instructions

    Take a large mixing bowl, put whole wheat flour and Gram flour in it and mix it well with a spoon.

    Add olive oil in it and mix it well with hands

  3. 3

    After this add salt, asafoetida, turmeric powder, ginger and green chilli paste, chilli flakes Kasuri methi and curd and mix it well with hand.

    Add a little water to it, knead it and prepare the soft dough

  5. 5

    Cover this dough with a wet cotton cloth and leave it for half an hour.

  6. 6

    After half an hour make small balls of this dough and roll the balls very thin with the help of rolling pin.

    Heat griddle on gas, Put the rolled thepla over it.Apply oil on it and cook it well on both sides.

    Serve the Thepla with pickle and chutney

    Note: if you want to make more spicy you can add masala like cumin powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder.
