Shahi Nan Khatai is a traditional Indian cookie(biscuit). This desi snack has it's own unique taste with a distinct aroma of pure desi ghee which distinguishes it from other cookies. The best thing about this cookies is that it doesn't require any baking skills. Anyone can prepare this and it's only require basic ingredients which can be easily found in our kitchen.

Add all the dry ingredients i.e, all purpose flour (maida), gram flour (besan), semolina and baking powder in a large bowl, mix them well and keep aside.

In another bowl take the wet ingredients i.e, powdered sugar and ghee and beat them well till the sugar and ghee gives a fluffy, smooth and creamy texture.

Now, add the dry ingredients into the bowl of wet ingredients and mix it properly and prepare a dough.

When the dough is ready take small pieces in your palm and roll it in your hand and make roundels and gently press a little flatten and put some almond slice on it.

Once you are done preparing all the nan khatai it's time to bake now.

Transfer all the nan khatai in a baking tray.

Preheat the oven for about 10 minutes. Bake it at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Once done, bring it to the room temperature before serving it.

Enjoy this Shahi Nan Khatai with milk or tea or just like that without anything. There you go Shahi Nan Khatai is ready.
