Herb and Edible Flower Ice cubes 🌿🌱🌷

I love herbs and I’ve got some beautiful and unusual plants growing at the moment. You can use any herbs and edible flowers - today I made lemon verbena, strawberry mint, pineapple sage and apple mint. Rosemary, parsley and thyme are also perfect. These and lovely and refreshing on a hot sunny day in the garden - perfect for a gin and tonic, Pimms or muddled with strawberries, cucumber and soda water - exactly what I am going to do this afternoon!
You can also use the ice cubes for cooking when the herb is out of season, a great way to preserve and add a little extra flavour.

@rachel_madewithplantsI love to cook vegan, seasonal, plant-based dishes. For me, cooking is fun and I particularly love a challenge! I’ve always loved to cook, but it wasn’t until I became vegan that I became really excited about creating recipes. I realised that the old cooking ‘rules’ were not rules at all and you can be as creative and imaginative with food as you like; I’m a true veg lover and I’m known for trying to ‘veganise’ anything and everything 🌱
