In a large pot, heat the milk. Stir continuously until it reduces by half and becomes thick like rabri. Turn off the heat.

In a separate pan, make a sugar syrup by heating the sugar with a little water. Stir and turn off the heat before it reaches a one-string consistency. In another pan, heat the ghee and fry the bread slices on both sides until golden brown.

While the syrup is still warm, dip the fried bread pieces in it briefly and remove immediately.

Decorate as desired.
