Ingredients

  • For the Hummus:
  • 1 cupovernight soaked and boiled chickpeas
  • 1/2 cuproasted white sesame seeds
  • 3-4garlic cloves
  • 2 tsplemon juice
  • 1/2 cupolive oil
  • 2 tbspextra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsppaprika powder
  • For the Falafel:
  • 1 cupovernight soaked chickpeas
  • 1/2 cupcoriander leaves
  • 1/2 cupparsley leaves
  • 1medium sized onion - chopped
  • 3garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda
  • As neededOil to shallow fry

Steps

  1. 1

    For the hummus: Blend all the ingredients listed for hummus and garnish with paprika powder and add the extra virgin olive oil after taking it out from the blender.

  2. 2

    For the Falafel: Grind everything listed under falafel

  3. 3

    Shape the mixture like tikkis

  4. 4

    Shallow fry them.

  5. 5

    Serve with hummus.
