Aloo matar ki sabji
A simple yet yummy rcp. Always made at my home when there were guests, as it's easy and fast to make.
Steps
- 1
Peel the green peas, peel the potatoes, wash both. Cut the potatoes. Chop the onions. Make a paste of ginger and garlic. I have boiled the green peas and potatoes before making the sabji.
- 2
Heat oil in a kadhai, add onions, ginger-garlic paste. Saute till done. Add tomato puree. Cook for 2-3 mins.
- 3
Add all the dry spices, cover and cook till the oil seperates. Add salt. Mix well. Add the boiled potatoes and green peas. Add water. Can add more water if you wanted it in gravy form. But I have used little water. Boil the sabji. Gets little thick.
- 4
Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with cream.
