Ingredients

  1. 2 pieceschicken breast, 1 inch thick
  2. 3/2-2 tablespoonsoil
  3. 1 tablespoonunsalted butter
  4. Seasoning
  5. 1 teaspoonsalt, maybe slightly more
  6. 1 teaspoonpaprika
  7. 1 teaspoononion powder
  8. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  9. 1 teaspoonbasil
  10. 1 teaspoonthyme
  11. 1 teaspoonoregano
  12. 1 teaspoonparsley
  13. 1/2 teaspoonchili powder for an extra kick (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Do whatever you like to make the thickness of chicken to about 1 inch

  2. 2

    Dress the chicken however you like and pat dry

  3. 3

    Add seasoning to a bowl and mix together

  4. 4

    Rub seasoning mix onto chicken breasts and let sit for about 5 minutes

  5. 5

    Add oil to pan and set stove to medium high heat

  6. 6

    Once oil is hot add breasts to pan presentation side down

  7. 7

    Let cooked undisturbed for around 4 minutes or until the white creeps up just over half the height

  8. 8

    Add butter to pan and flip breasts

  9. 9

    Let cook for another another 3 minutes

  10. 10

    Flip once more and cook for 1 minute

  11. 11

    Plate breasts, pour leftover sauce from pan onto chicken, and let rest for 5 minutes

  12. 12

    Slice chicken into strips against the grain, if possible, and enjoy
