In a heavy sufuria mix your milk and sugar. Put on the stove on very low heat just to dissolve all your sugar. When smooth, insert a cooking stick and measure.

Increase heat slightly just to have the sides bubbling, not boiling. Let simmer for about 40 minutes till when you insert your cooking stick it's at half the original position. The colour should have changed too to be brownish.

It should be thick and let it cool it will continue thickening. Put in a jar and preserve or use it as you wish
