Ingredients

  1. For pizza dough
  2. 2 cup maida
  3. 1 tspactive dry yeast
  4. 1/2 cupwater(use as needed)
  5. 1 1/2 tbspolive oil or regular oil
  6. 1/4 tspsalt as/taste
  7. 3/4 tspsugar
  8. For pizza sauce
  9. 4chopped tomatoes/pureed
  10. 2garlic cloves minced/ chopped
  11. 1 tspred chilli flakes
  12. 1 tspItalian herbs/ oregano
  13. as neededSalt
  14. 1/2 Tsppepper powder
  15. 1 1/2 tbspoil
  16. 1 Tspsugar
  17. Pizza toppings
  18. 200 gramsmozerella cheese or as needed
  19. 1 1/2 cupscapsicum, onion, tomato, olives, mushrooms, paneer, corn
  20. Oregano (as desired)
  21. Chilli flakes (as desired)
  22. Butter to spread on the top (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Make pizza dough- Pour lukewarm water to a mixing bowl, do not over heat, because hot water kills the yeast, so avoid it.

  2. 2

    Add yeast and sugar to like warm water and stir it.

  3. 3

    Set aside for 10-15 min and allow it to become double in size.

  4. 4

    After 15 mins the yeast turn bubbly and frothy, if the water doesn't turn frothy, the yeast is inactive and cannot be used for dough.

  5. 5

    When water turns frothy add flour, salt, oil, make fought adding water where needed.

  6. 6

    Knead the dough very well until it become soft, the dough shoul be soft and elastic, make sure when you press it with your finger it must bounce back.

  7. 7

    Apply a thin layer of oil to the bowl and dough as well, keep it covered with grease plate.

  8. 8

    Allow the dough to rise and double in size, it may take 2 hours depending upon the weather conditions.

  9. 9

    Prepare pizza sauce- heat oil in a pan and saute garlic until it smells good.

  10. 10

    Then add red chilli flakes, onion, saute until they turn golden.

  11. 11

    Add tomatoes, salt and sugar and continue to cook by covering it partially.

  12. 12

    Cook until the sauce thickens,add herbs and crushed pepper, mix and taste the sauce.if needed you can add spices acc to your taste.

  13. 13

    Cut the veggies and rinse them.

    Make pizza- Pre heat the oven to 240°c for at least 20 min

  15. 15

    Transfer the dough to a pizza tray, shape it to ball, place the pizza dough over the tray and flatten it slightly.

  16. 16

    Spread the pizza sauce as desired, layer the veggies and add grated cheese.

    Lastly sprinkle some Italian herbs, oregano, chilli flakes and spread some butter on the top.

  18. 18

    Bake for 10-12 min until the base turns slightly golden

  19. 19

    Slice and serve pizza hot or warm.
