Cooking Instructions

Clean the mackerel. Cut the fish horizontally or at any angle. In another bowl take kokum (aagal) and add kanda lasun tikhat and salt. Check the salt and sourness (adjust accordingly)

Mix it well. Apply this paste to the mackerel nicely. Coat it well. Marinate it for at least 30 min.

Now take rava and rice flour, combine together and spread it in a plate. Dip fish in it. Use your hands to sprinkle it on the fish, till it’s coated well on each side.

In a pan add oil. Heat the oil on medium flame. Shallow fry the fish from both sides until done.
