Ingredients

  1. 2 cupspasta of choice, small seashell or farfalle are usually my choices
  2. 1 cupfinely chopped red bell pepper
  3. 1/2 cupchopped fresh parsley
  4. 1/2 cupfinely chopped shallot
  5. 1/2 cupfinely chopped celery
  6. 1 (6 ounce)can solid white tuna in water, drained
  7. 1/3 cupfresh lemon juice
  8. 2 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
  9. 2 tablespoonscapers
  10. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  11. 1garlic clove, minced
  12. 1/4 teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain and rinse with cold water; drain.

    Combine pasta, bell pepper, parsley, shallot, celery, and tuna in a large bowl, tossing gently to combine.

    Combine lemon juice and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk. Drizzle over pasta mixture; toss gently to coat.
