Dahi vada

Dahi vada are a craze at home and I do make them at times as they require some prep work to be done beforehand. Like making both the spicy green coriander chutney and sweet tamarind chutney, preparing the vada etc. I tried this recipe out and it's just perfect .....do give it a try. #new

Add the soaked lentils or daals to a mixer grinder and blend well till smooth mixture.dont add too much water otherwise vadas wont come out easily just 4 to5 tbsp is enough

Add the mixture to a bowl add hing, salt and mix well

Heat oil in a wok and deep.fry the vadas till golden brown and add them immediately to water

After 1 hour squeeze out all yhe excess water from vadas

Lets arrange the vadas

Take a plate or a bowl place in the vadas, add curd, tamarind chutney and some green chutney
- 7
Sprinkle over, salt, black salt, red chilli powder and, cumin powder
