A soft and tender orange cake that’s bursting with fresh orange flavor. One of the best fruit cake that i have eaten. There is so much of Orange flavor and highly recommend using fresh oranges for this cake - no artificial flavor.

Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 cupsall-purpose flour, sifted
  2. 2 1/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  3. 3large eggs
  4. 1 cupvegetable oil
  5. 1 1/2 cupsgranulated sugar
  6. 1 1/4 cupsfreshly squeezed orange juice
  7. as neededOrange zest from 3-4 oranges
  8. 1 teaspoonpure vanilla extract

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Grease with butter the cake pan and set aside.

    In a medium bowl whisk together flour and baking powder. Set aside.

  3. 3

    With a hand blender, whisk together eggs and sugar on high speed until pale and fluffy, about 5 minutes. On low speed and with the mixer running, add oil slowly until combined. Add orange juice, zest, and vanilla extract and keep whisking slowly until combined. Add flour mixture and whisk just until combined.

    Pour batter into prepared pan. Arrane Orange slices over the top.

    Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow cake/cakes to cool completely on a wire rack

  6. 6

    Store cake in an refrigerator for up to 5 days and serve at room temperature.cut into pieces and serve.
