Green Chicken Masala

#flavour1
A very creamy and a lovely recipe that is my family's favourite and has been adapted from a very famous Chef Vikram. I had made just a slight change by adding a cup of freshly chopped Coriander Leaves too. It's a mildly hot and a creamy gravy that goes along well with any Indian Bread and even Pulaos or simple boiled Rice too. The colour itself is so tempting and appealing that it will definitely make you fall in love with it again and again. You can also give it a slight variation by choosing to add Curd instead of Coconut Milk.

Steps
- 1
In a blender, combine the Coriander, Mint, Green Chillies, Garlic, Lemon juice and puree until smooth.
- 2
In a large deep skillet, heat the oil. Add the onion and cook over moderately high heat, stirring frequently until softened, about five minutes. Add the chicken and the turmeric and cook, stirring occasionally for about seven minutes.
- 3
Add the cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and cook for another minute. Add the coriander mint puree and coconut milk, season with salt and bring to a boil.
- 4
Simmer over low heat until the sauce is slightly reduced and the chicken is tender for about 15 minutes. Serve hot. Enjoy!
