Rajasthani authentic Dal bati churma

Take 2cup wheat flour, salt, baking powder and ghee.

Mix well making sure the dough is moist. Now add water as required to Knead the dough.

Pinch a small ball sized dough. Place the rolled bati in a grecced plate, cover and cook on low flame for 20 minutes all sides.

Now dip baked bati in ghee. Now bati is ready.

For dal: soak all pulses for 30 minutes after that in a pressure cooker take water.

Take 4 whistle.

Now in kadai heat ghee and splutter jeera and hing.

Add onion, green chillies, ginger. Saute well.

Further add tomatoes and saute well.

Add turmeric red chilli powder, garam masala and salt as per taste, saute in low flame.

Further add cooked dal, 1cup water and mix well.

Simmer and boil for 5 minutes. Now add coriander leaves. Rajasthani dal is ready to serve.

For Churma : take 3prepared bati and break into mixi, make coarse powder of bati.

Heat kdai with 2tbsp ghee and roast powdered bati, roast on low flame for 7 minutes or till turns golden brown.

Cool the mixture completely, add 3tbsp powdered sugar, chopped almonds, cardmom powder.

Mix well and churma is finally ready to serve.

Serve Dal Bati Churma with some onion and green chillies.
