Sweet Azuki & Sesame Seeds Spring Rolls

There is a popular fried dumpling filled with Sweet Azuki Paste and coated with Sesame Seeds. I tried to make something similar to it using Spring Roll Wrappers. This dessert is absolutely easy to make. Fried crunchy Sesame Seeds and Sweet Azuki Paste are delicious when combined. I like to use Black Sesame Seeds for sweets, but White Sesame Seeds are also suitable.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut each large square sheet into 4 pieces. If you use smaller sheets, alter the amount of filling accordingly.
- 2
Place 1 piece of Spring Roll Wrapper on a flat surface with a corner facing you. Cover remaining wrappers with a dump tea towel to prevent them from drying out.
- 3
Place 1 tablespoon Sweet Azuki Paste, fold the front corner over and roll up slightly, fold in side corners, then roll up firmly to enclose. Wet the last corner with water to seal. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- 4
Mix Plain Flour and Water in a bowl. Wet the rolls with it, and coat them with Sesame Seeds.
- 5
Heat Oil about depth of 2cm in a saucepan over medium low heat. Carefully place the rolls into the Oil. Cook, turning occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes or until crunchy. Transfer onto a plate lined with paper towel.
- 6
Enjoy while the rolls are still hot and crunchy.

Sweet & Salty Spring Rolls with Vegetable Namul and Tteokbokki (Mochi) Sweet & Salty Spring Rolls with Vegetable Namul and Tteokbokki (Mochi)
I wondered if sweet and salty gochujiang flavored tteokbokki would taste good wrapped in crispy spring rolls. When I made them, they came out just as delicious as I thought. The point is to thoroughly flavor the mochi Since making only a small amount of namul just for these spring rolls seems pointless to me, I make extra and use it the next day to make bibimbap or soup, etc. You could also make these spring rolls using leftover or store bought namul. For 10 spring rolls. Recipe by Masapandayan cookpad.japan -

Homemade Sweet Chili Sauce for Spring Rolls Homemade Sweet Chili Sauce for Spring Rolls
I make fresh spring rolls quite often in place of a salad, but store-bought sweet chili sauces are too sweet for my son, and too spicy for my daughter. So, even though they wanted to eat lots of fresh spring rolls, they couldn't!! That's why I started making my own sweet chili sauce at home. It's easy to make, so I make it every time I need it, but it can also be stored. You can finely chop the garlic instead of grating it. It's even easier if you use the tubed type of grated garlic. The sauce will thicken too much if you overcook it. If it hardens, dilute it with a little water. Adjust the spiciness and sweetness to suit your taste! Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan -

When I made coarsely mashed sweet bean paste at home, I decided to use it up by making it into Japanese sweets.I referred to the way my mother-in-law makes yokan, and made a few changes.I didn't add sugar or salt, because the bean paste was already sweetened. You can make mizu-yokan (yokan jelly) using 200g of an (sweet bean paste) and 200 ml of water in summer. Crispy Basic Spring Rolls Crispy Basic Spring Rolls
These are the spring rolls that I've been making for a long time now. They taste great filled with harusame noodles too.If the fillings have too much water content then the spring roll wrappers will tear easily and the oil will spit more, so please soak up any excess moisture with katakuriko. If you wrap the fillings while they're still too hot, the spring roll wrappers could get damaged so please make sure to let them cool sufficiently. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -
Easy and Authentic Crispy Spring Rolls Easy and Authentic Crispy Spring Rolls
I made my husband's favourite spring rolls easily at home.Note 1: It might be mentioned on the package how to separate the spring roll wrappers one at a time, but divide 1/3 potions first and then slowly peel each wrapper one at a time.Note 2: When deep frying, the oil might splatter if the filling is still hot. Make sure cool the filling down to avoid popping out.You can also add bamboo shoots but please cut into the same size as other ingredients. Recipe by Demingo cookpad.japan -

Fresh Spring Rolls with a Delicious Sauce Fresh Spring Rolls with a Delicious Sauce
I love fresh spring rolls but I'm not too fond of sweet chili sauce...so I combined my favorite seasoning ingredients to make this delicious dipping sauce.Even people who don't like vegetables will eat them served like this, so it's a great way to try out all different sorts of vegetables. When rehydrating the wrappers, it's best if you take them out while they are still a bit firm, since the moisture in the wrapped vegetables will soften them some more and make them just right. If they are still too hard try spraying them with water using a mister or spray. You can also try lightly brushing some water on them. Recipe by Taberunba cookpad.japan
