Ingredients

Half hour
2 servings
  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped drumstick leaves
  • 2 cupswhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
  • 1 tbsppeanut oil
  • 2 tbspcurd (dahi)
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 tspchilli powder
  • As per taste salt
  • As required Oil

  1. 1

    Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take wheat flour.

    Also add chili powder, turmeric, 1 tsp oil, andsalt,
    additionally, add green chilli for extra spicy.

  3. 3

    Now add finely chopped drumstick leaves.
    give a rough mix making sure the spices are combined well.

    Now add curd and combine the dough well.
    additionally, add some water and knead the dough.
    knead the dough to smooth and soft texture like of chapathi dough.
    add 2 tsp of oil and knead the dough for 5 more minutes and keep it aside for 10 min on rest till it is set.

  5. 5

    Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion like rothi thin using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.

  6. 6

    Heat a tawa (griddle) and cook paratha on a medium flame.

  7. 7

    When the base is partly cooked, flip the paratha
    also brush oil / ghee and press slightly.

  8. 8

    Turns golden brown in colour from both the sides.
