A simple Thai dessert using easily available ingredients. We have a garden with native Thai bananas, which have a great flavor and make delicious desserts.

Mix the flours together, gradually add coconut cream, and knead until smooth. Then add palm sugar, granulated sugar, salt, the remaining coconut cream, mashed bananas, and shredded coconut. Stir well and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Spoon the mixture into a tray, sprinkle with coconut, and steam over high heat for 15-20 minutes (increase time for larger trays).

Let the dessert cool, then cut into desired pieces.

You can also use heat-resistant molds.
