This recipe is specially made on the coconut day in the month of Shravan.
Steps

First wash the rice properly 2-3 times. Keep it aside from 5 minutes. In a utensil put ghee. After ghee melting add chopped badam kaju.

Now add fresh grated coconut and stir 2-3 minutes. Put rice and jaggery in it.

Add water and pinch of salt. Cook till it is done.

After cooking divide the rice in three equal parts. In one part add orange food colour cover it and keep on low flame for 1 minute. Same way do for green colour.

Keep another part of rice plain. Decorate as shown. Garnish with badam kaju.
