Ingredients

  • For Grinding:-
  • 1/2 cupRoasted and Skin removed Peanuts
  • 1small piece of Tamarind
  • 3Dry Red Chillies
  • 3Garlic pods
  • as requiredCoriander leaves few
  • as per tastesalt
  • as requiredWater-
  • For Tempering:-
  • 1 tspOil
  • 1/4 tspMustard seeds
  • 1/4 tspUrad Dal
  • 1Dry Red Chilli Broken
  • as per requirementsCurry leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Add the ingredients given for grinding in a mixie. Grind to a smooth paste by adding water gradually. Transfer to a bowl.

  2. 2

    In a tadka pan, add the ingredients given for tempering. Fry it. Add this to the Chutney. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Serve with idli, dosa, aapam, lemon sevai and tomato sevai.
