Wash and soak urad dal and rice for 6 hours, grind with salt and keep it aside for 3 hours__ after that add jaggery and semolina

In order to get grated coconut grind some pieces of coconut along with cardamom add this grated coconut into to the batter mix all the things together

Take ghee in a pan, pour the batter, while pouring the better the flame should be high__ after 3 minutes slow down the flame, set coconut slices into it and cover for 10 minutes

Once it's done flip it off___ cook for another 7 to 8 minutes no need to cover. Check with help of knife if knife comes out clean it means the Pitha is done.
