Wash and soak rice for 1 hour.

Hard boil eggs.Shallow fry them to golden.

Cut tomato and potatoes into pieces.

Heat oil in a pan,add whole spices.Add onion paste and ginger garlic paste.Saute for 1 minute.

Add powdered spices,mix and saute for 2 minutes on low flame.Add potatoes pieces and tomato.Mix.Add salt.

Cover and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.

Add soaked rice to the pan,add peas and 4 cups water and cover the lid. Cook on high flame.

After 1 boil,simmer the flame to medium- low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or till rice is 80% done.

Add boiled egg to the rice, cover with rice. Cover the lid and further cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes.

Gernish with some fried onion.Serve hot with salad/raita.
